The Trees for Cars App by homeless man Leo Grand is over and available at the iTune app store.

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/trees-for-cars/id767249238?mt=8

The story behind the Trees for Cars app is incredible. A homeless man learnt coding in 16 weeks on a used Chrome and built the app from his abode under the stars!

The app is not all publicity. It serves a very specific purpose. As the name suggests the app is about energy saving, saving trees, reducing CO2 via a very simple device - car pooling or truck pooling. The app tries to connect journeyers together so that technology can be used for a basic everyday purpose.

Get the App at the itunes app store for .99. The app appears to be in the name of Patrick McConlogue, Grand's coding Guru.
