The Werner's steel Easy Access Attic Ladder has been approved for a final settlement in a Class Action Suit. Model Nos. S2208 and S2210 apparently contained defective zinc hinges prone to "breaking and shearing" and are apparently not very safe to use.
Under the Settlement the class action suit member will get a replacement attic ladder of wood or aluminium.
